I liked a lot of things there. It was cozy and the fridge came in handy to keep our waters cold and our leftovers edible. The bed was very comfortable and I liked the cable television as well. The staff is very nice and the free breakfast was wonderful. I loved the inviting atmosphere of the place. I would definitely stay here again if I ever come to San Diego in the future.
There was not any maid service. I didn't like how our room was not fully supplied when we came back to our hotel. We had to manually go downstairs to restock our towels and shampoo/soap. Also, the planes were loud, which I know isn't the hotel's fault. The windows did a good job muting the sound though.
Street Parking available. Very close proximity to downtown strip.
Small rooms, but fair for the price.
The hotel had a good location, only few blocks from the city centre. The room was small but cosy and it had all amenities required for a short stay. Good value for money. There is a nice bar/restaurant called 'Wet Stone' close by. Definitely recommended.
The staff was very nice and accommodating when the rules allowed them to be.
It was not at all what I expected. Due to fire code restrictions they could not give us a cot to accommodate our third person and would not at first give us extra blankets for that same reason. eventually we got extra blankets but needed to wait until the shift change.
The staff at America's Best Value Inn were friendly, attentive, and knowledgeable.
We didn't like the hotel. We found spiders in the bathroom every day. There was no sink in the bathroom, it is located in the small hallway before the bedroom.
Great location, very clean rooms with mini kitchen and accomodating staff .
No hotel parking, but street parking is available.
The staff were really helpful, specially the front desk, Bobby. He helped us to go to the town and he was really friendly. The breakfast was good and The guy working there was really nice and helpful.
Three towels were dirty, and we found a towel with some dirt on it(really disgusting dirts)! I think the towels are not washed with enough powder!!!there was not enough soap and shampoo and body lotion, just one from each for two residents!
The hotel is very clean. There are fridge, iron and microwave in the room that was good as I travelled with young kid.
The room was small cannot put extra bed.
The hotel was clean and ther is microwave in the room.
The room is small.
I never stayed in a place of this nature before. I was very disappointed. My check in time was 3:00. I arrived at 1:30. They told me we had to wait for the rooms to be clean. We couldn’t check in until 4:35. We had an event to go to at 5:00. The rooms are small outdated and noise. No bathroom sink you had to use the kitchen sink. The lighting was very poor. This was nothing I thought it would be. The bed was squicky. I’m use to the Hilton. Never again will I stay there. The staff did accommodate me with a lower price. All the rooms should be $50.00 a night. I wanted to sleep in my car.
My wife and I stayed two nights. There were some good things and some bad things. The things we liked was this particular staff member who seemed to be in charge of the continental breakfast. He was amazing. Probably one of the better things of the hotel was the continental breakfast, due part to him in my opinion. Plus he was very friendly answering any questions he could, giving directions, this guy deserves a big raise.
The things we did not like was the location. I booked this hotel partially because of its location. I believed that it would be easy to walk anywhere, a central location. I was wrong, it is central, however San Diego is big and shortly we did a lot of walking. Another annoying thing was that the airport was extremely close and planes flew over the motel all hours of the day. Very loud and noisy, bring ear plugs. Lastly parking stunk, but then again I think this is a norm in San Diego. There is a parking lot across the way but it will cost you $15 dollars for 24 hours. Simply inconvenient. The parking lot is not part of the hotel and we were made believed that it was. So if anything happens to your vehicle, then there is nothing that can be done really. We felt very uneasy leaving our vehicle parked there.
Location and my company.
The girl I was with. However, one of your employees was very unpleasant and was really the only negative thing about the trip. Every time we walked in she seemed very annoyed and like she hated life. I didn't catch her name but she was there on Friday and saturday 3-4. Very poor service.
Its very close to Down Town and its not very expensive thats sweet
The shower didn't have hot water, that was bad!
It was quiet, simple and clean. The staff was friendly and helpful.
There was a lot of noise outside, a late night party during two of the nights of my stay.
